When Leo sees his people gathered together in one room, he sees his own memories. Things that he can no longer touch, but things he will always be able to see. That is his strength. As a painter and as a man. Owing to his art, we can see that too. True, Rembrant’s people still live. You can say the same for Leo’s people.
